The release of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade on Steam and a bunch of announcements surrounding Final Fantasy’s seventh installment – in just 14 minutes from Square Enix’s presentation last night on June 17th.

Game designer Tetsuya Nomura promised that the stream would not last long, but would be full of announcements and new information. No sooner said than done.

  • Last Fantasy VII remake Intergrade has already appeared in Steam – it happened right during the presentation. Before that, the game was exclusive to the Epic Games Store since December 2021. The game is already available for purchase and even launched on Steam Deck – full compatibility confirmed.

  • Announced remaster Crisis Core: Last Fantasy VII- Meeting for PC, previous and current console generations and Nintendo Switch. This is a prequel to the seventh “final” in which Zack Fair is the main character. Before that, the game was exclusive to the PlayStation Portable and was released in 2007. In the remaster, the story is not touched, but all three-dimensional models are completely updated, the graphics are reworked and the dialogues are voiced. I’m looking forward to the release at the end of 2022.

  • Release window announced for the second part of the remake Last Fantasy VII with title Rebirth – Winter 2023. The game will be released exclusively for PS 5. The entire remake project is in three parts and the development team has confirmed that they are already working on a triquel, but will talk about it later.

  • Announced only RPG Last Fantasy VII Ever Crisis for mobile platforms† It takes place across the entire FF VII timeline, with a closed beta slated for 2022 on Android and iOS.

  • Showed the trailer third season for FF VII The First Soldierwhich was called Highway Star.
