Announcing Dragon’s Dogma 2

During the stream celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series, Capcom announced Dragon’s Dogma 2 – the game is being developed on the Resident Evil Village and Devil May Cry 5 engine.

Game director Hideaki Itsuno announced the good news for fans, dressed in a T-shirt with a logo. Admittedly, the project is in an early stage of development so no information was provided other than the announcement image with the logo. However, it is known that the game will run on the Capcom RE Engine, a proprietary development of the company, which has created Monster Hunter: Rise, Devil May Cry 5 and games from the Resident Evil series.

The first Dragon’s Dogma was released in May 2012 and received critical acclaim and became a commercial success – but Western players have come to love the game over time. Pay special attention to the gameplay and system of “pawns”: NPCs in the squad talk, give useful advice, ask for help and go to complete tasks around the world. In addition, two of the three pawns are copies of other players who do not need to be in the lobby and in the game in general.
